let me introduce myself my name is kinetic Soldier and I'm the admin of an italian yu gi oh's forum.
We are the only forum in Italy to have worked on translating and customizing YGOpro and I'm also a friend of your user Metroid :lol: .
Now I'm writing for a precise reason that I hope can affect all players in this forum.
Will you be interested in a World Championship of YGOpro?
I mean:
- your forum will represent Peru or Mexico, etc;
- Me and my forum will represent Italy;
- the same for a friend from France;
- the same for a friend from Germany.
4 Countries in total and everybody using YGOpro (1.02B for now) ... What do you think about it?
About rules I was thinking about this:
---FIRST PHASE---
- each countries chooses 10 top player;
- when all countries are ready, each player will be divided in a Group (Example: GROUP A, GROUP B, etc etc);
- If ,for example, in this tournament countries will be 4 in total and each country have 10 player, in total we will be 40 top player...so we can divide the users into eight Groups of 5 people;
- The players in each Group will duel using the rule: "All against All";
- MATCH DUEL (the first who wins 2 times, wins the duel - Automatic method in YGOpro);
- for each victory a player wins 1 point (EXAMPLE: If the duel ended 2-0, winner takes 2 points - loser takes 0 points; while if the duel ended 2-1, winner takes 2 points - loser takes 1 points);
- when all players in a Group ended their duels (or the maximum date for complete duels ended), the first two members from each Group will move to the next stage of the tournament (so now we will have 16 players in total);
---SECOND PHASE---
- the 16 remaining Duelists will be divided into four Groups of 4 people each;
- The players in each Group will duel using the rule: "All against All";
- for each victory a player wins 1 point;
- at the end of this phase will move to the next stage of the tournament ONLY 1 Player for each Group who has the highest point in his group (so now we will have 4 players in total).
---LAST PHASE---
- now we have 4 remaining Duelists (1 in GROUP A, 1 in GROUP B, 1 in GROUP C and 1 in GROUP D);
- for the Semi-finals duels will be:
Duelist Group A VS Duelist Group D
and
Duelist Group B VS Duelist Group C
- the winner of each duel will make the Finals for the 1° and 2°place;
- the losers of each duel will make the Finals for the 3° and 4°place;
- END OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP
